Put on the brake pedal pad, touched up some chrome, and messed with the hat rack.
I’ve been looking for an NOS gas door guard for awhile now. Finally one showed up on eBay the other night. Got it in the mail today and installed it. I think it looks sweet!
Cut the driver’s floor mat to fit around the pedals
Checked the oil level
Checked the radiator fluid
Adjusted the gear linkage
Inflated the tires to at least 34 lbs psi
Topped off with gas
Received the rechromed fender spears and trunk lock
Replaced the old with the new
Drove Stella around the extended neighborhood again
Filled the tires up to 34lbs
Removed the window frame from the interior
Removed the cat whiskers with a trim removal tool
Put weather adhesive on the backs of the cat whiskers
Reinstalled the cat whiskers
Removed the screens from inside the fender vents
Installed painted screens inside the vents
Put the tranny linkage back to where it was, time before last
Went to the gas station and aired up my tires… They were each about 10 lbs too low
Punched holes in the carpet, then attached the seat belts through them
Attached two splash guards… One near the high beam switch in the fender well, and the other near the starter
Attached garage door rubber to the rock guards with 17 ga. aluminum wire
Tightened most of the body bolts from the rear fenders to the body
Installed [...]
Put the front bumper on
Also put on the front splash apron
